Julefrokost on a Ship in Nyhavn
Herring, cold beer and good company – aboard a cargo ship from 1898, moored in the quiet end of Nyhavn. A julefrokost that feels like home and a small adventure at the same time.
Groups of 30–45 can have the whole ship to themselves. Fewer of you? Smaller groups are welcome too – just without the whole ship to yourselves. Dinner is laid on the Lower Deck, with a hint of tar in the air and the canal passing by the portholes. The bar is up on the Top Deck. The evening is yours, from welcome bubbles until we say goodnight.

The Christmas menu
Three servings of Danish Christmas classics. We adjust the menu to your group – just tell us about allergies and preferences.
First serving – with rye bread, butter and lard
Egg and shrimp with dill mayonnaise and lemon
Dill herring with capers, onion and juniper
Curry herring with egg and apple
Spiced herring with pickled red onion and cress
Fish cakes with remoulade
Add-on: fried herring with rævesauce and onion (DKK 35 per person)
Second serving
Confit duck leg with red cabbage salad, chestnuts and orange
Crispy pork belly with creamed kale
Medister sausage with thyme and apple, mustard and apple compote
Potatoes, gravy and pickled beetroot
Add-on: breaded pork tenderloin with soft onions (DKK 55 per person)
Dessert
Risalamande with cherry sauce
Add-on: three Danish farmhouse cheeses with preserves and crackers (DKK 95 per person)

Longdrinks and cocktails, free flow from 22:00 to 02:00: Gin & Tonic, Something Tropical, Dark & Stormy, Paloma – DKK 425 per person
Late-night snack to go (00:00–02:00): a warm croissant with salmon salad and a can of beer – DKK 95 per person

Getting here
Nyhavn 65A, 1051 Copenhagen K, in the quiet end of Nyhavn. Easy to reach by metro, bus or harbour bus. The nearest parking garage is at Ofelia Plads, about 250 m from the quay.
